Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor To Grace Cannes Red Carpet

The past and present of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine are going to come face to face at this year's Cannes Film Festivals, as Kareena Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, both are gearing up to strut the Cannes red carpet.

For the uninitiated, Madhur had earlier roped in Aishwarya for his opus, however when it was discovered that Bachchan was pregnant she was unceremoniously dropped from the project and Kapoor was brought on board.

While Aishwarya is a regular at the Cannes film festival, this would be chammak challo's debut at the prestigious event. Kareena and Madhur will promote Heroine at Cannes, while Aishwarya will represent a leading cosmetic brand. Though the dates on which they'll walk the red carpet hasn't been announced yet, sources claim that they won't be walking on the same day, for sure.

Also taking a trip to the French Riviera will be actors Bipasha Basu and Arjun Rampal. While Bipasha will promote her first Hollywood venture Singularity, Rampal will endorse a liquor brand. Karisma Kapoor may also promote her comeback film Dangerous Ishhq at the do.
