Pakistani Actor-Singer Ali Zafar is going to be felicitated with the Dadasaheb Phalke Academy award for 'Upcoming Male Talent'. The Lahore lad has made huge strides in the Hindi film industry, ever since he made his debut in the 2010 sleeper hit Tere Bin Laden.
Since then, he has astounded the audiences with wonderful performances in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, as well as the recently released London Paris New York, where he composed the music as well. He has been praised by critics and fans alike for his convincing performances on the silver screen and has garnered accolades for his singing as well.
Up next, he is bracing himself for the Chashme Buddoor remake, which is being directed by David Dhawan, where he plays the role that Farooq Sheikh played in the original.
Zafar has already caught the attention of a majority of the industry folk and after receiving the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Academy award, it can be safely said that this man will go places.
