Andy Lau's "Switch" delayed again

18 Oct – Andy Lau's new movie "Switch" has been delayed to another date yet again.

As reported on Asian Crunch website, the movie that was originally scheduled for an early November release, has been postponed to a later date due to several issues regarding certain scenes.

It was also rumoured that the Andy Lau – Lin Chi Ling starrer has yet to pass the censorship board and may only be released after Christmas.

The movie has already been facing criticism for damaging the Mainland Chinese police image with the depiction of corruption among the officials. It was also forced to reshoot some scenes of Andy Lau fighting the Japanese. With the Diaoyu Island conflict and anti-Japanese sentiment recently, a lot of people agreed that the fighting scenes will only add fuel to the fire.

Meanwhile, the delay and re-shoot seemed to have dislodged actress Lin Chi Ling's other activities. According to her agency, "We have received the notice but had to wait for the detailed plan and script before we coordinate with a schedule change." The actress was reportedly given additional fight sequences for the movie, forcing her to rearrange her schedule accordingly.
