Angelababy's manager says breakup not for publicity

22 Jul – With rumours about Angelababy and Huang Xiaoming's breakup and the actress' cosmetic surgery surfacing, it is concluded that the reports were all publicity stunts to promote their upcoming movie, "Crimes Of Passion".

As reported on Oriental Daily, several netizens alleged that Angelababy's refusal to address the breakup meant that the rumour must have been started by the movie's production team in order to create more hype before its release in August.

However, "Crimes Of Passion" director, Gao Qunshu, recently turned to Weibo to deny their involvement, pointing his finger at both Angelababy and Huang Xiaoming's managers instead.

To this, Angelababy's manager, Kim, stepped up to refute the allegations, and demanded that the media stop with these reports.

"I don't know who started the rumours but I'd prefer that there be no news at all. I don't want my artiste's life to be publicised in such a way."

The manager added, "Please stop all these malicious rumours and clarify with us first before coming up with any more reports."

Meanwhile, about the plastic surgery rumours, Angelababy stated, "My nose would have shattered a long time ago if it was fake, since Huang Xiaoming hit it so hard!", in reference to a steamy kiss scene with her beau from her newest movie, "Crimes Of Passion".
