Angelina Jolie’s children have reportedly bonded with Russell Crowe during the production of his new movie.
Russell invited Angelina and three of her six children – Maddox, ten, Pax, eight and Zahara, seven – to the UK set of his musical film Les Misérables, sources told Us Weekly.
The kids watched the Gladiator star act and sing for almost an hour on Monday at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, West London.
"Russell and Angelina caught up at the F Stage, where Les Misérables is being shot," the insider said.
“The kids were all fitted with [protective] ear defenders because it's quite a loud sound stage. It was really exciting for the children to see the movie being shot."
Angelina, who recently announced her engagement to Brad Pitt, has been in the UK to begin filming on her movie Maleficent. The picture will also be shot at Pinewood Studios. She was in the area to do “light testing” when Russell extended the invite.
The actress is said to be “very excited about the film and [is] in such a great mood”.
The Tomb Raider star recently told of her excitement about the Disney project, which begins production in June.
"It's a really great script. I'm having a lot of fun. I've already got my horns fitted," the actress said.
"My kids are very happy."
The Sleeping Beauty adaption follows the fairy-tale from the perspective of the princess' evil nemesis, Maleficent.
Angelina has insisted the movie is "not anti-princess, but it's the first time they're looking at this epic woman [in a different way]”.© Cover Media
