14 Oct – It was revealed that former Taiwanese boy band Comic Boyz member, Arroy Shen, recently underwent a high-risk operation to remove a blood clot in his brain.
According to Groove Asia, Arroy Shen's manager clarified the news, stating, "Arroy had a headache last month and went to the doctor's. A blood clot was found in his brain."
However, the manager revealed that the singer is still recovering and needs to rest after the operation, denying claims that Shen was in a state of coma and that his life was in danger.
His manager's statement was backed by fellow Taiwanese artiste Yang Hsiu Hui, who visited him a few days ago, who said, "He does not seem to be in a situation as serious as what was reported in the news."
Although he has regained consciousness after the operation, rumour has it that Arroy is still suffering from high fever and is unable to talk for now.
