25 Oct – Athena Chu and Paul Wong have recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

Asianpopnews webite reported that singer-songwriter Paul posted a photo of his new baby girl on Weibo and enthused, "Everyone, the pretty and freshly baked pork bun is here. To friends who have showed concern to her, she is saying: I, daddy and mummy have already reached home. I wish everyone a happy Chongqang festival.''

Earlier on the same day, Paul updated fans on his wife, actress Athena Chu's pregnancy. The singer wrote, "Athena scolded me, asked me why I switched off the television and woke her up. She also asked why I switched off the lights to scare her. I have no reply, but I don't blame her because she is carrying my child."

He added lovingly, "Now, she has become plural so I am willing to accept all these new quirks. If you become plural, everything is logical!"

The singer started dating actress Athena Chu in 1999 when they found out that they shared the same love for dogs. The Christian couple – who first vowed for abstinence, announced Athena's pregnancy in April and filed for a notice of intended marriage on 24 August 2012.
