As for the recent trend of celebrities going public sans makeup, Beyonce wouldn't mind facing the world fresh-faced.

In addition to saving some money cutting and styling her own hair, the 30-year-old new mom also likes to save her old makeup.

"I don't have to spend that much time on my skin... I'm pretty good at throwing out the expired [makeup], but I hold on to my mascara for a long time," she told People. "I actually prefer old mascara. It makes your lashes thicker and longer."
And when it comes to being a role model for daughter Blue Ivy, Beyonce plans on teaching her daughter to not get hung up on her looks.

"I have embraced my flaws and I feel more confident," she told the mag. "My biggest thing is to teach [Blue] not to focus on the aesthetic. It's really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful."
