Carina Lau denies rumours of marriage trouble
17 Sep – Hong Kong actress Carina Lau recently refuted rumours saying that she has been controlling husband Tony Leung's whereabouts since reports of his relationship with Chinese actress Zhou Xun came out.
As reported on Qoos website, the Hong Kong tabloids recently reported that the actress has been tightening her grip on Tony ever since he was rumoured to be dating his "The Great Magician" co-star.
It was rumoured that not only did Tony and Zhou Xun stopped all communication between them after the news broke, Carina also demanded for Tony to report his every move, the people he meets with when she's not around, as for his phone being subjected to checks from time to time.
A source claimed that "The Grandmaster" star has been so stressed out by the situation that he has been seen looking more haggard than usual, and was even photographed drinking alcohol with friends; supposedly a sign of anxiety.
The source alleged, "Tony and Carina are not talking to each other at the moment, but since the two of them have been together for many years, the situation shall improve one day."
However, when asked to address the rumours of their supposed 'cold war', Carina waved it off, saying, "Would anyone believe me to be such a person?"
