Carina Lau doesn't mind talking about her abduction

2 Oct – The second season of Maria Leitao's "Telling Maria" has been getting a lot of attention for the controversial guests they have brought in, but nothing else has been more anticipated than Carina Lau's interview.

As reported on AM730 website, in one of the clips of the upcoming interview that was previewed at the promotional event of the "Young Detective Dee", the actress was shown talking about her kidnapping in 1990.

She was quoted saying, "If I ever get the chance, I want to come across the four people. I know they were under other people's orders."

Speaking at a gynaecological cancer-related event recently, the actress was asked regarding the interview and expressed, "The truth is, I have already forgiven them long ago. Now I can be honest about it. I have no taboo and there's nothing that I can't talk about. I'm very open-minded."

She also disclosed that the interview with Maria Leitao was a fun experience and that no secrets were kept from the host.

In 1990, the actress was reported to have been abducted for several hours during the filming of "Days Of Being Wild", and topless photos of her were taken. However, no police reports were made and many believed that the man behind the kidnapping was a very famous producer with whom Lau was having a financial dispute.

Her husband Tony Leung Chiu-Wai stated that Carina never talked about what happened during those hours with anyone, including him.
