Carina Lau doesn't mind Tony Leung's loss

2 Dec – Despite the many predictions that Tony Leung (Chiu Wai) will win Best Actor at the 50th Golden Horse Awards, the actor eventually lost the accolade to "Stray Dogs" actor, Lee Kang-sheng instead.

However, according to HK Top Ten website, Carina, who had been vocal in supporting her husband, recently revealed that the actor is unfazed about losing to the Taiwanese actor, saying, "Lee has never won in 22 years, let him have one. Each and every award show has its own stance. The results are fair."

When asked if she has comforted the actor, the "Bends" actress stated, "I don't need to. His award-winning rate is 99.9 percent. It's no problem losing to 0.1 percent. People will never say that Tony Leung doesn't know how to act. They would instead ask why he didn't win, which is a different kind of victory altogether."

Meanwhile, Carina recently set tongues wagging when she uploaded a photo with actress and rumoured love rival, Maggie Cheung taken at the airport.

When mentioned about the photo, Carina laughed and said, "People have been looking forward to it for quite a while, haven't they? I just pleased everyone!"

However, when probed about what the two of them talked about at the airport, Carina replied, "I can't tell you. We're not like what others are saying. Don't imagine too much!"
