Catherine Zeta-Jones admits she "isn't Wonder Woman" when it comes to balancing her home and work life.
The actress has two children with her husband Michael Douglas; son Dylan and daughter Carys. Catherine says juggling her glittering Hollywood career with being a mother can be tough.
"I'm the first person to say it's not easy. I'm not Wonder Woman, and I never will be," she told USA Today.
Catherine is starring as Patricia Whitmore in the new big screen adaptation of Rock of Ages alongside Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and Julianne Hough. The 42-year-old star performs a rendition of Pat Benatar's Hit Me with Your Best Shot. She says the scene was entertaining to shoot.
"It was just fun to go in, to knock out that number. And I mean, knock it out, because it was really physical," she quipped.
Catherine's big screen return comes after the beauty retreated from the limelight when Michael was diagnosed with cancer. She was later treated for bipolar disorder and the stunning star is glad to return to her day job.
"I took a time-out, and then Michael got sick and just a whole bunch of things happened," she explained. "And then it was time to go back, and it was the right time."
Michael was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2010. The disease is now in remission and the actor has previously spoken of his well-being.
"I feel good! I've got a clean bill of health,” he said.
