Cecilia Yip & Chan Kwok Hei celebrate 25th anniversary
30 Jul – Hong Kong actress Cecilia Yip and her husband Chan Kwok Hei recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with their friends from the industry.
According to HK media, on 23 July, the couple invited celebrity friends such as Tony Leung, Jacky Cheung, Eric Tsang, Chingmy Yau, David Lui and Andrew Lau to join a small party in celebration of their 25th year of marriage.
The gathering lasted until midnight before the party guests left in a van, with a flushed-face Jacky Cheung claiming that he was not drunk.
Chan later shared a photo of him and Cecilia with Eric Tsang on his micro blog after the party, and wrote, "Thanks everyone for the well wishes! 25 years – we will continue to work hard!"
The "Happy Family" actress met her husband while she was filming a commercial in 1978. They tied the knot in Paris after dating for 10 years, despite rumours about Chan's cheating ways.
