20 Mar – Actor Chapman To recently announced that he is establishing his own production company and plans produce five films in near future.

TVB News World reported that on 18 March, the actor revealed that with the support of Satellite television movie channel and Emperor Motion Pictures' "Go Local", the actor was able to set up his production company, Hong Kong Film Production Company.

Chapman explained, "Emperor isn't giving me the capital to start my own company, but the chance to collaborate with them."

"I am just one of the stockholders with the least share and most work," he added jokingly.

The actor expressed his intentions to produce five films in the next three years, with three of them involving Sandra Ng, Charlene Choi and Fiona Sit.

Chapman stated, "Sandra will play a female mob and Charlene will participate in the film adaptation of the play "29+1". As for me, I hope to focus on administrative and behind-the-scenes work."

The actor expressed his concerns regarding the overabundance of China and Hong Kong co-production films with mainland female stars in the leads, stating that Hong Kong actresses were given less opportunities to play meatier roles in their own territory. For that reason alone, Chapman plans to make a lot of movies that focuses on women and feminine issues.
