Charlene Choi flew back to Hong Kong for birthday
25 Nov – In order to celebrate her birthday with fans, singer-actress Charlene Choi made plans three months in advance in order to fly home to Hong Kong from mainland China.
As reported on Singpao website, the actress, who turned 31 on 22 November, was able to make it just in time for the party, aptly themed "Choi Sa Travels the World Birthday Gathering", attended by 500 of her fans not only from Hong Kong but also from China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia.
At the event, Charlene revealed, "I was extremely anxious when the flight back was delayed. As soon as I arrived, I went straight to the location."
She also revealed that she made a special request to borrow Joey Yung's saree she purchased in India to match the theme.
Knowing that the fans have been waiting for her for quite a while, Charlene took the initiative to suggest a group photo as well as individual photos.
When asked about her birthday wish, Charlene expressed, "I am getting older and older, so I really feel that health is most important. Thus, I hope that my close friends, my family and I can all be healthy and happy!"
