Charlize Theron's Shaved Off Her Blonde Hair! First Look At Her Mad Max Buzz Cut

UPDATE 29/06/2012: It’s been a tantalizing few weeks for us here at Grazia.  When we reported on Charlize Theron stepping out with a distinct lack of hair beneath her hat on the 15th June (see below), at no point did we think we would have to wait a full long and lengthy two weeks to see the work of art in all its glory. But, finally the time has come! The actress has at last ditched her cover-up hats and embraced her wet-shave look. 

The South African beauty was in Nambia with her son Jackson when the dramatic shaved head was spotted this without her trademark-of-late, a boyish fedora hat. There are very few ladies that can even remotely pull off this daring look (Britney – take note) but Ms Theron shows us how its done.

15/06/2012: Earlier this week we spotted that Snow White and The Huntsman star Charlize Theron  stepped out in Beverley Hills sporting a distinctly new look in the form of a closely-shaved back and sides buzz cut. Despite attempts to hide her lack of locks under a grey fedora hat, Ms Theron's brand new do hair-do was distinctly visible.  And the motivation behind her newly-shorn hair?  A role in Mad Max: Fury Road not less. Cripes, talk about commitment! 'It's been three years: It's time to skin this cat already!' Theron said last month in anticipation of the new look. 'I'm very excited about it.' Surprisingly, we are too. Because if anyone can pull off a shaved head, it's Charlize.

And now Leslie Fremar, the stylist who counts Charlize among her many clients, has commented on the actress' new look. 'She sent me a picture, and I said, ‘Where the heck is all your hair?!'' Fremar told InStyle.com at the launch of her new super-comfy basics collection for Fruit of the Loom at Bloomingdale’s in New York City. 'But Charlize takes her trade very seriously. She's not afraid to put herself out there and transform into the character she's playing. And let's be honest, she's so beautiful.'
