Chris Martin has rated Rihanna the third most attractive woman in the world.
The British musician’s band Coldplay has collaborated with the sexy singer on the track Princess of China. A teaser clip of the accompanying promo was recently released, where Rihanna is seen looking sultry as she channels a geisha look.
Her female charms haven’t gone unnoticed by Chris, although he insists she doesn’t hold a light to his wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
“I think she’s the third most attractive lady in the world. My first and second is the same person [Gwyneth], she gets two. Rihanna’s a distant third,” Chris laughed to ET Canada. “Cameron Diaz is up there as well, she’s third. There’s a few thirds, Beyoncé is third as well… naming all these great ladies. This is a silly conversation! This is going to be the f**king headline, I’ve just f**ked up the whole interview.”
Chris was talking ahead of the band’s tour. They have been playing in Canada and are excited about a certain aspect of the shows.
“We have this gimmick, wristband light thing that everybody has in the audience which is really phenomenal to look at when you’re playing on stage. We’ve always dreamed of something like that and now we, very expensively, have it every day,” he laughed.
“The first place we ever played in North America was Vancouver so it’s kind of a homecoming for us.”
Chris was also asked about how he and his bandmates – Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion – prepare ahead of a big show. “We normally just varnish our nails,” he laughed.
