Chrissie Chau arrives in yacht for press conference

20 Feb – Not unlike Julian Cheung last year, Chrissie Chau received a grand entry into China 3D Digital Entertainment recently, arriving at the press conference in a big yacht.

According to Mingpao, on 18 February, the actress arrived at the press conference to officiate her entry into the Stephen Shiu Jr. company, and even received a miniature sailboat as a gift, which was revealed to be a symbol for a smooth sailing career with the company.

Speaking to the media at the event, Chrissie expressed that her new collaboration with China 3D is a big gift for her in 2014, adding, "I want to achieve something new in the film industry. I hope to be able to make good films."

When asked if she will have the right to choose her co-stars and scripts by joining the company, Chrissie replied, "I will participate in making selections."

Chrissie stated though that her dream is to work with Takeshi Kaneshiro, for now she will work her way to achieve it.

The actress, who signed a 12 film deal and pocketed HKD 20 million (UD 2.58 million) from the contract, said that she has already bought a Mercedes Benz and plans to buy a new house.

In regards to contract stipulations about relationships and marriage, Chrissie said, "I can get married but not date. I am more focused about my work for the moment and not thinking about dating anyway."

Chrissie also revealed that she is excited about her upcoming rom-com project with Julian Cheung, and is looking forward to be working with Juno Mak in "Bauhinia Heroine 3D".
