Christine Ng dismisses boycott rumour
24 Oct – Actress Christine Ng recently dismissed the rumours that she boycotted the promotions for her latest series "Will Power".
Previously, it was rumoured that the 44-year-old actress was not happy that TVB has edited out a lot of her scenes to highlight Fala Chen in an attempt to get the latter to renew her contract.
The actress allegedly told her friends that she would rather go on a vacation than promote the series, and did just that by going on a holiday with her good friends Anita Yuen and Julian Cheung.
However, Wenweipo website reported that the actress, who attended her first promotional event for the drama on 22 October alongside Wayne Lai, Moses Chan, Jason Chan and Samantha Ko in Kowloon Bay, has denied such reports, saying that there is no truth to the rumours.
Christine clarified, "I have known Julian and Anita for more than 20 years. We've been planning this trip for a long time. I have told them that I would take a break after filming wraps up."
