We got sent some 'I heart Justin Bieber' t-shirts last week to celebrate the teen heart throb's new fragrance launch. If we're perfectly honest, we're more into Bastille than Bieber, but for a laugh we decided to challenge our features writer Lena to try and give the t-shirt a cool-over!
By simply snipping vertically from the base of the tee upwards, you get a cool fringing effect that helps a plain tee pack more of a fashion punch. This look is perfect for anyone that isn't ready to rock the crop top trend but wants to step out of boring t-shirt territory!

We think Lena rocked this challenge! Fringing is a simple idea that will make any top look cooler! There's lots of different ways to use fringing, too - you can do thinner or thicker fringing, trim the fringing short or maybe try fringing the sleeves like this top on ASOS?
