12 Oct – Chinese actress Crystal Liu recently debunked the rumours stating that she was the third party that caused Leon Lai and Gaile Lok's marriage to fall apart.
As reported on Popular Asians, at the promotional event for her new film, "The Assassins", the actress denied rumours of her relationship with Leon Lai, saying, "I will not answer this question. If I were to respond, then it will be even odder."
She continued saying, "The rumours came out of nowhere, why would I want to make it worse? I don't even know how I had ended up becoming the media's target in their separation."
Since Leon Lai and Gaile Lok announced their separation on 3 October, rumours have surfaced that their marriage was ruined by a third party. When reports of Gaile Lok's New Zealander beau were proven false, the media turned to Leon Lai instead, accusing the actor for infidelity.
Gaile Lok then added fuel to the fire when she hinted that Leon already has a "new friend" and he will live happily after divorce, causing many to speculate that the breakup was caused by Leon's involvement with another woman. 25-year-old Crystal Liu was quickly suspected to have been the third party in the marriage since she and Leon collaborated in 2012's "White Vengeance".
