Deep Ng apologises for kissing photo
27 Feb – After the release of a shocking photo that shows him kissing another woman behind fiancée Sherman Chung's back, Hong Kong actor and singer-songwriter Deep Ng has recently stepped up to clarify the incident.
According to On CC News, previously, Hong Kong tabloids published several photos of the actor on what seemed to be a dinner date with another woman. Deep reportedly left the premise alongside the mysterious woman not soon after, and was photographed hugging and kissing her inside a taxi.
While Sherman has yet to make any statement to the media regarding the matter, she recently posted to her Weibo, saying that she is 'not feeling good'.
On 25 February, Deep finally responded to the allegations, and clarified that the woman in question is a good friend that he has known for years.
"I took her home in the taxi that night as a good friend. The kiss was only a goodbye kiss," he said.
However, Deep admitted that the action was inappropriate for someone who is already engaged to be married. He apologised for his mistake to everybody, especially Sherman.
"I am sorry that my action has caused anxiety and distress to everybody," he said, and vowed to distance himself from his female friends and put his loved ones' needs first.
