While she'll romance South superstar Rajinikanth in his upcoming film Kochadaiyaan, Deepika Padukone won't star in his historical action film Rana. Sources reveal that the makers of the film don't want to repeat the pair again for Rana.
"Deepika is already doing Kochadaiyaan with Rajini Sir. And we might not want to repeat the same pair immediately. But we will take the final call when the film's shooting resumes", the director of the film K.S. Ravikumar was quoted saying.
The principal photography of the film happened in 2011, however the film was postponed indefinitely when Rajinikanth fell ill. The movie's shooting will resume in November, post the release of Kochadaiyaan.
