The huge success of Fifty Shades of Grey has taken the world by surprise...who knew we were all so desperate for some steamy sex scenes and a bit of kinky bondage.
Now parenting and pregnancy websites are reporting that the novel is set to spark a massive baby boom as women across the land get tempted to recreate the famous scenes.
Online forums, like those of the popular website, Baby Center, have been going wild with mums sharing their revitalised bedroom romps.
Linda Murray, Global Editor of Baby Center told Good Morning America: “Reading Fifty Shades of Grey is acting like an aphrodisiac for women. It’s putting them in the mood more frequently and they’re having more sex and they’re ultimately getting pregnant faster.”
This is backed up by high-street retailer Ann Summers, who have reported a massive 60% increase in the sale of blindfolds and a 35% increase in rope ties. You wouldn’t be buying them if you weren’t planning on using them...
