Emraan Hashmi Has His Plate Full, Turns Down YRF

Emraan Hashmi has done what no actor would dare to do! He has turned down an offer from the prestigious Yash Raj Films, because he did not have dates for the role.

A few days ago when the Jannat 2 star visited Yash Raj Studios (Andheri), an offer was made to him. Although the actor listened to the makers patiently, a few days later, he informed them that he wouldn't be able to accept it. However, the actor did not keep the production house hanging for too long before he refused the offer.

One wonders whether the actor, with his new found popularity has become too big for his boots. An industry source was quoted saying, "Emraan pretty much has his plate full. He is busy with the promotions of Raaz 3 and Shanghai and gearing up for the shoot of Ghanchakkar, EkThi Daayan, Rensil D'silva's next and possibly Kunal Deshmukh's next as well, did not have dates for the role. So yes, he is terribly busy."

Another source was quoted saying, "Emraan's decision has sent shock waves through the industry. But it is clear that the man is a thorough professional."
