Eric Kwok tells it as it is
24 Jul – The always strict judge of "The Voice Of Stars", Eric Kwok, recently insisted that he is not apologetic for his criticisms and he will not restrain himself even if the contestants are established stars.
As reported on HK Channel, Eric stated, "Nobody can change what I say and I will say what is needed to be said. If these stars can hold themselves together when attacked with gossips and rumours, they can surely face the truth."
"If they do well, I will commend them. If they don't, I will correct them," he added.
Eric also dismissed rumours that TVB has already fixed Oscar Leung to win the resurrection round, saying "How is that even possible when all of Hong Kong is watching this? You saw what happened to those who performed poorly but still passed the round. They were heavily criticised [by the public]."
However, the former Swing member was full of praises for Fred Cheng, saying that he is happy that Fred finally got the attention he deserves.
However, when asked to comment on Oscar Leung's singing ability, Eric expressed, "Singing doesn't suit him. He's out of luck here. He is a better actor and I want to watch more of his dramas. I admire his courage but he does not need to compete."
