f(x) Keeps Winning That No. 1 Spot with ‘Electric Shock’

F(x) has definitely been electrifying K-Pop with its new single Electric Shock, sweeping through the no. 1 spots on charts of main and cable channel music shows and even the weekly album chart two weeks in a row.



F(x) won the no. 1 trophy on the June 21 broadcast of Mnet’s M Countdown, and achieved the same feat a day later on the June 22 broadcast of KBS2’s Music Bank.

On the weekly Hanteo Chart released on June 25, f(x) could be found again at the top for two weeks in a row.

The music video for Electric Shock, which was released on June 12, shot through 10 million views in just six days, becoming the second K-Pop video released through Youtube to garner such a record.

On June 25, it marked 14 million, continuing to gather even more views.

The dance for the song is also being received favorably. It was choreographed by Jillian Meyers, and drew many fans to their feet to dance it out and post a variety of cover dance videos on such sites as Youtube.

F(x) will continue to promote Electric Shock to continue on its road of success.
