Fans worry for Benny Chan's marriage

3 Oct – It seems that Benny Chan's decision to play a role in rumoured ex-girlfriend Michelle Ye's new drama have caused fans to worry that the two might hit it off again.

As reported on Asian Crunch website, Netizens and fans have voiced out their concern and displeasure of Chan's decision to join the cast of Ye's new drama, "The Purple Hairpin Romance", so much so that it was reported that Chan's wife, Chinese model Lisa Jiang has packed her bags and travelled to Ningbo –where the filming is done.

Furthermore, fans also made an appeal to Jiang, with him stating that even before filming began, fans have started to argue regarding the two. This is mainly because Benny Chan and his "The Purple Hairpin Romance" co-star, Michelle Ye were rumoured to be in a relationship for a period of time after they met for the first time in 2000.

Meanwhile, Benny Chan and Lisa Jiang have been lying low after the birth of their daughter, Chang Nga Yu. The actor's career halted when he was involved in a sexual harassment scandal with a 19-year-old girl in the same year he married his wife.
