Ginnifer Goodwin “failed miserably" at clown school.
The actress found the circus-themed course harder than she imagined while studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Ginnifer thought it would be a fun thing to try, but because she could not grasp the techniques she found it an embarrassing experience.
“I failed miserably! I thought it would be about how many people you can fit in a Volkswagen bug, but actually it was like scoring your ability to squirt people with water shooting,” Ginnifer revealed to Australian radio show hosts Kyle and Jackie O. “It is actually a fine art!”
The 34-year-old star went on to describe her clown school ordeal further. Ginnifer joked that she was shamefully bad at playing a comic character and insists the memory of the episode traumatises her to this day.
“It’s something to do if you want to humiliate yourself and usually I’m excellent at humiliating myself,” Ginnifer joked. “But I was told I was the worst clown this particular teacher had ever seen. I’m still upset about it too.”
