If you were stuck on a desert island, that daily beauty routine you have would be drastically different.
Sure you could MacGyver a few things like using sand as an exfoliator, coconut oil or avocado as hair masques and you wouldn't need all those hair products to get that "Beachy" look. What would be the products you absolutely can't live without?

Here are my picks:
ESSENTIALS

SUNSCREEN: With my fair skin, I wouldn't last long in the harsh sun. I like Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock with SPF 100. With all that time in the sun, I would need every bit of protection I can get!
LIP BALM: I've been addicted to lip balm since I was in middle school...my lips get super chapped. Yes to Carrots has launched a collection of three "Lip Butters" that are 95 percent USDA Certified Organic. They feature Vitamin E and Shea Butter, and are super moisturizing and yummy smelling.
MOISTURIZER AND CLEANSER: Go for a lightweight moisturizer like Kiehl's' Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 and you can't beat derm fave Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser to keep skin clean and help keep pores from clogging from sunscreen and tropical conditions.

MASCARA : I'll take COVERGIRL LashBlast 24 Hour Mascara in Very Black (a fave of Taylor Swift!) because it stays put--a necessity in humidity!
ETC... ETC... : Of course, who wouldn't love to have the basics like shampoo, toothpaste, a tooth brush, soap and deodorant? (Lately, I've been using Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist deodorant, which smells really nice.)

LUXURY ITEMS
EYESHADOW: It's not a necessity, but it sure would be nice to have! I love neutral colors and Physicians Formula's Shimmer Strips Collection in Nude features nine flattering shadows that you can wear wet or dry to give lots of options.
BODY MOISTURIZER: If we're talking luxury items, may as well go all out and go big time. La Mer's The Reparative Body Lotion features loads of anti-aging properties, something that will be needed after extra time in the elements.
SCENT: I am a perfume junkie, but if I can only pick one I'm gonna go for a long-lasting, classic scent, Chanel's Chance. This perfume automatically reminds me of Paris. Good memories! And that's something you may really need on a desert island!
