10 Apr – IPC Movie Fiesta season has just begun, with "Ice Age 4: Continental Drift" characters gracing today's event for the 'Character Appearance' activity during noon.
Some of the characters that appeared were Manfred, the woolly mammoth, or Manny as he is usually called; Sid, the ground sloth, and Scrat, the saber-toothed squirrel who is obsessed with acorns, who is also the mascot for the "Ice Age" franchise, considering the various dangerous and occasionally hilarious, stunts that he performs throughout the series to obtain and defend the acorns.
Despite it being a weekday, moviegoers and fans of all ages and backgrounds were eager to have their pictures taken with the characters. If that is not enough, there were various life-sized movie cardboard figures ready to be photographed with, such as the piranha from "Piranha 3DD" and "Men In Black 3".
Other activities include 'Q&A sessions' regarding movies, an activity corner for 'Sid Egg Deco', a 'Thor Strength Challenge' stage activity, the 'Street Dance 2' competition and a 'Best Alex Pose' stage activity.
Watch out for more character appearances in the coming IPC Movie Fiesta events over the coming weeks, with Yogi Bear being the newest addition tomorrow!
