20 Apr – For Singapore fans who are dissatisfied with the release date of "Marvel's The Avengers" being pushed to 1 May as opposed to Malaysia's 27 April release, worry not, cinemas in the Merlion country have decided to join in the fun by advancing ticket sales for Joss Whedon's highly anticipated superhero epic, available now.
Tickets can be purchased from the majority of cinema exhibitors such as Golden Village, Cathay Cineplexes and Shaw. Sneak previews are also available for "Marvel's The Avengers" on 30 May.
Additionally, Marvel fans and moviegoers who may want to experience the best viewing have the option of purchasing advanced tickets for either Shaw IMAX theatres, including the newly opened outlet in JCube Entertainment Centre.
After the release of his horror film "The Cabin In The Woods" yesterday, Whedon's "Marvel's The Avengers" will be released in cinemas in Singapore next on 1 May. The movie features an ensemble cast, which includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson as part of the peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D.'s attempts to save the world from destruction, brought upon by Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
