After going through a fierce competition on Mnet’s Superstar K2, Huh Gak and John Park will once again be going head to head.
Both Huh Gak and John Park were nominated for a category at the 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2012 MAMA), which will be held on November 30 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
On October 23, Mnet’s Wide Entertainment News announced both singers as nominees for the Best Vocal Performance - Solo category. John Park was nominated for his song Falling and Huh Gak for The Person Who Once Loved Me. 
The two have competed against each other until the end of Superstar K2 in 2010, but now Huh Gak and John Park will be going against each other as singers representing their own songs. Also nominated for the Best Vocal Performance - Solo are Baek Ji Young (Voice) IU (You and I), and K.Will (I Need You).
Huh Gak and John Park have been actively promoting as the audition program’s finalist and semi-finalist. To see who will receive the glory in this competition is attracting attention.
Meanwhile, MAMA is a large-scale music awards festival that has been taking place for more than ten years since 1999 under the previous name, Mnet KM Music Festival.
