Isabella Leong makes comeback
11 Jul – Although she turned down an offer to play a role in Fruit Chan's new movie previously – a role that was eventually given to Janice Man – rumour has it that actress Isabella Leong still plans to make her acting comeback.
According to Xinhua, the actress recently started rumours about her comeback when she congratulated her godfather, Anthony Wong, at the press conference of his new joint-venture, Dionysus Contemporary Theatre, saying, "You have to save a spot for me in future classes."
When asked if it was a hint that the mother of three will be coming back to grace the silver screen and join his class when it opened in September, Anthony stated, "Maybe next time, though I don't know when. She said she has her own arrangements. If anything, she will make the announcement herself."
Isabella Leong made a temporary retirement from showbiz when she was pregnant with Richard Li's son at the age of 20. Despite having three children throughout their relationship, the actress and her billionaire boyfriend never got married and eventually called it quits in February 2011. Isabella and her children now reside in Toronto, Canada.
Meanwhile, actresses Karena Lam, Kate Tsui and Jacqueline Chong have already enrolled in Anthony's upcoming classes.
