Jack Osbourne says his life is “far from over” following his Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis.
The reality TV star announced that he is suffering from the degenerative neurological disease this week and spoke of his initial frustration and anger.
However, just weeks after the initial diagnosis he has managed to adopt a more positive mind-set and is ready to battle the illness. “My life is far from over,” he told US publication People. "It's just one of those things you take as it comes. It's all about your outlook."
After the initial shock, Jack is now living a healthier lifestyle.
The son of Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy and his wife Sharon, he revealed how he suspected something was wrong with him when his vision began to fail.
"I couldn't see anything in front of me," he said.
Multiple Sclerosis attacks the sufferer’s brain and spinal cord and can affect vision, movement and cognition.
Jack, who became a father for the first time this April, has the support of his fiancée Lisa Stelly and the rest of the Osbourne clan.
"I was very sad and totally in shock," his father Ozzy said. "[But] I've got to tell you, he's handled it much better than I would have. He's a very strong kid."
"Osbournes survive everything. We really do," his mother Sharon added.
