We love Jaeger. The high end high street brand always delivers chic, elegant clothing tailored to the needs of the fashion savvy consumer, and counts Pixie Lott amongst its celebrity fans. We love their cutesy, sister label Boutique, whose cheaper price points make for bargainous purchases.
Investing in a wardrobe staple from Jaeger is a must-do each season. With the brand sold for £20 million this week, we’re clearly not the only ones who think that.
Previously owned by Harold Tillman, chairman of the British Fashion Council, since 2002, the fashion maestro sold his high street offering to Guernsey-based investment company Better Capital.
Jaeger commented: ‘The board is pleased that Jaeger has a new owner in Better Capital, thereby securing the future of the business. The investment that Better Capital has provided will create a strong foundation on which to further develop our iconic brand.’
What a great investment in British fashion to make!
