Jason Mraz fans, throw your hands up in the air and wave 'em around like you just don't care, because Warner Music Malaysia has confirmed that the he will be coming to Malaysia for a one-night-only concert!
The Grammy Award-winning crooner is set to charm his local fans on 19 June at Stadium Merdeka as part of his 'Love Is A Four Letter Word' world tour. Malaysia will be his fourth stop in the Asian leg of the tour, performing in Pusan, Seoul and Bangkok before making his stop here.
This will be the second time he'll be setting foot on Malaysian soil, first performing to a sold-out concert at Stadium Merdeka in 2009.
The concert ties in with the release of his hugely-anticipated new album, “Love Is A Four Letter Word.” The album, which features the hit single “I Won’t Give Up”, is produced by multiple Grammy Award-winner Joe Chiccarelli and according to critics, marks "Mraz’s finest, most fully-realised collection to date".
And not only that, the 34-year-old Mraz recently announced that for each CD sold in Malaysia between 17 April – 30 July 2012, Warner Music Malaysia and his very own Jason Mraz Foundation will donate RM3 to a local charity home.
First rising to fame with his debut single "The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)" in 2002, the wordplay master has since dominated music charts worldwide, with his hit single "I’m Yours" staying on the Billboard Hot 100 for a record-breaking 76 weeks!
The tickets are priced at RM345, RM295, RM185 and RM95 for numbered seating in the Arena, and RM235 and RM75 for free seating terrace spots. For more information, head to www.AirAsiaRedtix.com.
