Jennifer Lopez reportedly quit American Idol so she could put her man first.
The singer recently left the judging panel of the TV show after two seasons and has been replaced by Mariah Carey.
Jennifer explained she was finding it hard to juggle the programme with raising her four-year-old twins Max and Emme and her music career. Her romance with her backing dancer Casper Smart is also thought to have featured in her decision.
“Jen always puts her men first and Casper is no exception,” a source told Heat magazine. “They’ve been talking about marriage and babies and Jen wanted time to plan both with him. He’s even been looking after the kids.”
The star was apparently also frustrated with having to eat late whenever she wanted dinner with Casper, as it wreaked havoc with her diet.
The star began dating Casper last year, following the breakdown of her marriage to Marc Anthony.
“Her heart rules and she’s desperate not to lose Casper,” the insider said.
