JJ Jia is still in demand
4 Jul – Not all is lost for actress JJ Jia, who left Nat Chan's management company in April, as the 30-year-old has been able to procure lots of modelling jobs ever since.
According to Oriental Daily, the actress, who was recently seen modelling for a swimwear event with Wylie Chiu and Jeanette Chung, was also looking noticeably fuller since her withdrawal from the company.
When asked about it, JJ explained, "The extra flab is caused by my habit of bending my body forward when I am sitting down. I have actually been on a no-rice diet for the past month but my upper body still won't slim down."
The Hong Kong-based model also admitted that this is her first time modelling for a swimwear event, and it was a decision made without her boyfriend Louis Fan's knowledge.
"I only told him after I accepted the offer. When he knew, he was very anxious and kept asking if it is alright since I would be wearing very little to cover myself up. Because of him, I kept looking at the mirror, and paranoid about accidentally exposing myself!"
However, JJ stressed that she would not be taking any jobs that needed her to wear swimwear again, as she is a conservative person.
