30 May – Singer-actress Joyce Cheng recently revealed that she has been working really hard for her performance at the upcoming concert to commemorate her beloved mother, Lydia Shum.

According to Jayne Stars website, Joyce, who will be performing on a solo stage at the Hong Kong Coliseum, shared that she has decided to overcome her fear of heights by singing while suspended in the air.

"I will be lifted 20 feet off the ground during my performance. I'm actually pretty scared of heights, so I may have to hold on tight when the time comes," the actress shared.

When asked if her father, actor Adam Cheng, will attend the event, Joyce said, "He is not in Hong Kong at the moment, but he encouraged me and remind me to keep on practicing."

The "Always Love Lydia" memorial concert will be held on 1 June to mark the 68th birthday of beloved actress, Lydia Shum. The show will feature Lydia's many celebrity friends, including Liza Wang, Carol Cheng, Jacky Cheung, Eric Tsang and Nat Chan, as well as Alice Lau, David Lo, and Elisa Chan.
