Juju Chan to compete in Taekwondo competition
4 May – Hong Kong actress JuJu Chan recently revealed that she will be representing Hong Kong in a Taekwondo competition.
According to Groove Asia website, the actress, who attended the premiere for new film, "Love Check In" recently, revealed that she will be competing at a Taekwondo competition that will be held in Bulgaria.
"This will be my first time representing Hong Kong in world competition. I have dreamed of being an athlete since childhood, so I would definitely do my best," the actress revealed.
The actress has been practising the martial arts for four years, earning her black belt and her master's commendation only after two years.
Asked if she is worried about competing with foreign participants, she stated, "I am not worried about being no match for foreigners, but the Korean team is very strong. I have to be at my best during competition."
In related news, the "Fist of the Dragon" star also revealed that she will be working on a foreign film in July.
