Julian Cheung packs on the pounds
30 Jul – The lean ladies' man Jayden played by Julian Cheung may be the most loved character in "Triumph In The Skies II", but the 41-year-old actor has packed on a lot of pounds months after filming for "Triumph In The Skies II" concluded.
Sohu reported that a photo of Julian's family vacation to Singapore recently revealed that the actor now has an obvious belly, in contrast to his great physique in the drama.
Sources claimed that Julian's weight gain was the result of his wife Anita Yuen's doing, as the actress is worried that her husband would stray if he maintains his "Triumph In The Skies II" look.
An insider stated, "Anita has been controlling Julian ever since the birth of their child. She took charge of the household finances as well as the female co-stars Julian can collaborate with in films and dramas. Anita only agrees if his female co-stars are actresses that are free from controversies or have very little scandals, such as Myolie Wu and Fala Chen."
However, Julian recently dismissed rumours about his wife's supposed jealousy and controlling ways.
While speaking to the media at a promotional event for the aviation series, the actor stated, "We're all happy. The viewers and my wife are both happy watching me on television. It's just acting, anyway. We both understand the scope of our job."
