Julian Cheung's character a hit
22 Jul – Since its first broadcast on 15 July, "Triumph In The Skies II" has done really well in ratings, earning 35 points for its premiere episode. While viewers praised the drama for its satisfying initial run, it was Julian Cheung's character as the playboy pilot Jayden Cool that got everybody swooning.
According to HK Channel, while speaking to the media about the success of its premiere episode, Producer Au Koon Ying revealed that it was Julian himself who requested for his character to be moulded into a cool ladies' man.
Au Koon Ying disclosed, "Julian wanted his character to be different from his real personality, so he asked if he could made Jayden a lady-killer. It proves to be a hit among the ladies!"
Meanwhile, the actor expressed, "I want to make this character romantic, but at the same time, I don't want him to be obscene. I never expected that the character will get a great response. This is definitely an encouragement!"
He added, "I feel that every woman can never be replaced as every one of them has their own uniqueness. I will treat their every smile and even every tear drop as a piece of art."
