Julien Macdonald has vowed not to turn his back on his ready-to-wear fans.
The designer unveiled his Fall/Winter 13 collection today after he failed to show at London Fashion Week earlier this year due to the recent launch of his new bespoke line.
The offering includes dramatic sheer lace-embroidered body-con dresses, elaborately sequin-embellishment frocks and show-stopping feathered and bejewelled creations.
The stunning designs are proof the fashion creative put his heart and soul into the confections despite the expansion of his brand and Julien insists he has no intention of abandoning his ready-to-wear fans.
"No, not at all. It's an addition to the brand," he told Vogue of Julien Macdonald Bespoke. "I don't have any plans at this stage to show this on the runway as a couture offering. It's a bespoke collection specifically for private clients who want an incredibly personal level of service and to buy something original and luxurious."
Julien also named the stars he thinks would represent his ready-to-wear creations perfectly.
The designer believes Jennifer Lopez, Gwyneth Paltrow and Florence Welch would suit the garments.
"I'd love to see something from this collection on Gwyneth Paltrow, Florence Welch and Jennifer Lopez. I think they each have their own unique sense of style," he said.
