22 Sep – Rumours of Kang Ho-dong's return have been buzzing in the media since his acquittal from tax evasion controversy, and the latest reports stated that Kang Ho-dong may possibly make a comeback on his former show, SBS' "Star King".
According to Allkpop website, a network insider revealed that the lovable entertainer may be making his comeback through "Star King" later this month.
A representative of SBS' "Star King" stated, "It is true that we are considering Kang Ho-dong to return to the show. But we will have to just wait and see whether he will make his comeback with us or with a new show."
Another official stated that the show might bring Kang Ho-dong back with their current co-host Super Junior Leeteuk will be enlisting with the army soon and a great possibility that current MCs Park Mi-sun and Boom will remain. However, the rep added, "Nothing has been confirmed at the moment and we will just have to wait and see."
Before making his temporary retirement due a tax evasion scandal, Kang Ho-dong was the hosts of several hit shows such as KBS' "2 Days 1 Night", MBC's "Knee Drop Guru" as well as SBS' "Star King" and "Strong Heart" with actor Lee Seung-gi.
