KARA promotes K-Food to foreign students

19 Sep – With the recent appointment of KARA members to be the ambassadors of K-Food (Korean Food), it was revealed that they have started performing their representative duty through a small food event.

Kpopstarz website reported that the girl group opened a "One Day" restaurant in a small food place in Banpo-dong, Seoul and personally served international students, teenage volunteers and fans.

The group invited 11 international students including from US, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Canada to enjoy a variety of Korean food that they themselves had personally cooked and prepared – displaying the variety of Korean flavours.

KARA also explained the different types of food to their guests and exchanging ideas and opinions from them about the dishes. One of the KARA members stated, "It was just for a short while, but we are happy that we were able to spread more awareness about Korean Food."

More promotional activities are currently in planning for the girls in order to spread more awareness of Korean Food in other countries in Asia, including video promotions and campaign ads.
