Karena Ng prefers Caesarean section

6 Jan – Hong Kong actress Karena Ng said that her experience working in the upcoming Lunar New Year film, "Hello Babies" has changed her views about giving birth, and revealed that she prefers to undergo Caesarean section when the time comes.

According to Singpao, while speaking to the media at the promotional event of the film, Karena, who also filmed a birthing scene with Alex Lam in the movie, revealed, "Before the shoot, I watched a lot of documentaries about child birth. I think natural birth is horrifying!"

She added that she may opt for a C-section in future, and said, "After watching the documentaries, I don't think I would dare to give natural birth. It looks really scary and painful."

In regards to rumours that she and boyfriend Raymond Lam will get married in the near future, Carina said, "I have no wedding plans. Women nowadays marry around 30. I still have another ten years to go."

When asked if Raymond would want to wait that long, she replied, "I don't know. How old is he?"

She then added that it is still normal for men to marry in their 40s.
