
While we adore that Kate Middleton loves the high street just as much as we do, we did assume that she'd have slipped into something by designer Alexander McQueen for her first ever Royal portrait.
But how wrong were we!
It's now been revealed that for her canvas debut the Duchess of Cambridge donned a blue top by high street chain French Connection.
With its big bow neck tie and rich shade of navy the Sub Silky Tie top is set to go down in history.
