Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri were reportedly involved in a non-serious car crash yesterday.
The actress and her six-year-old child’s chauffeur-driven Mercedes Benz was at Chelsea Piers in New York City when the accident happened. Luckily no one was hurt in the minor incident.
“The luxury sedan was struck on the rear driver's side by a dumptruck… which also received some minor dents,” explains X17Online.com. “The truck appeared to have backed into the sedan, and police were called to the scene to take an incident report, but no injuries were reported.”
According to the site, Katie’s security team and bodyguards made sure the pair were taken away from the chaos quickly and safely transported back to their New York residence.
However, there are conflicting reports about whether the actress and her child were actually in the vehicle, as neither were spotted at the scene and police wouldn’t confirm or deny speculation about the incident.
Katie recently filed for divorce from Tom Cruise, with the pair quickly settling the terms of their split.
