Khalil Fong to join Gold Typhoon
30 Jul – Rumour has it that Hong Kong singer Khalil Fong will be signing a contract with the popular record label, Golden Typhoon.
According to Sina Taiwan, the singer, whose contract with Warner Music is due to expire this year, is said to have finally decided to join Gold Typhoon out of the many offers he has received lately.
It was alleged that Khalil was persuaded to join Gold Typhoon due to the company's lucrative offers that include two personal assistants, collaboration with international musicians, as well as holding his own world tours.
His entry into the company will reportedly be announced on 7 August in a press conference at the Beijing Regent Hotels.
When asked regarding the rumour, a representative of Gold Typhoon said, "We will make the announcement when the time is right."
Gold Typhoon is home to many famous stars such as Elva Hsiao, A-Mei, Lollipop F, Ronald Cheng, S.H.E, Show Luo, Rubberband, Wu Jing, and mainland artiste, Xu Wei.
